Kikoti Camp is located outside the eastern border of Tarangire National Park on a private concession about twenty minutes from the park gate. The area is just east of Tarangire’s Silale swamp, thick but low bushland, and enjoys much of Tarangire’s game. Together with two other private and contiguous reserves, the area is greater than 100,000 acres of private, uninhabited reserve. The camp is built over a large area affording considerable privacy among the tents. The “tents” are very spacious rooms built on 6-8′ stilts above the ground and include full plumbing, a front deck veranda, and queen-sized four-poster beds. The bar, lounge and dining room are all equally spacious and open-air, covered by thatched roofing. Being outside a park, the camp regularly offers guided game walks.
