Day 1: VRENDAL
Leave Cape Town in the morning. Visit the Postberg Nature Reserve near Langebaan, an area renown for spectacular spring wild flowers. Continue via Moorreesburg and Piketberg to Vrendal for the night.   [ -l-d]
Day 2: NIEUWOUDTVILLE
Based from Vrendal take a day trip to the famous Nieuwoudtville area for some outstanding views of wild flowers. Return to Nieuwoudtville for dinner and overnight.   [b- -d]
Day 3: NIEUWOUDTVILLE
The village of Nieuwoudtville lies on the Bokkeveld Plateau, an area renowned for its great diversity of flowers. In good rainfall years the display of spring annuals around Nieuwoudtville transforms the landscape into a picture of color! Of particular interest to gardeners and botanists is the incredible variety of geophytes (bulbous plants) found here. After breakfast spend the rest of the day viewing wild flowers in their natural surroundings, with opportunities for wine tasting in the region also available. Overnight in Nieuwoudtville.  [b- -d]
Day 4: DEPART
After breakfast you will travel to Clanwilliam and the Ramskop Wild Flower Garden which contains a variety of more than 350 species of cultivated wild flowers. The walks on the laid-out paths through the garden also offer a beautiful view over the Clanwilliam Dam and of the Cederberg Mountains. Continue through Olifant's Valley, with its citrus groves and the quaint town of Darling, on the way back to Cape Town arriving late afternoon.  [b-l- ]
