Depart Windhoek for Keetmanshoop via Rehoboth and Mariental. Visit the Rehoboth Museum before continuing to a beautiful lodge in the Kalahari Desert area near Mariental. Enjoy a nature drive in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight at Anib Lodge [ - -d]
Day 2: FISHRIVER CANYON
Morning drive to the Hardap Dam for a visit to the ancient Quiver tree forest near Keetmanshoop. The route via Seeheim will take you to the Fishriver Canyon. This Canyon is known as the second largest canyon in the world, after the Grand Canyon. Dinner and overnight at Canyon Lodge [b- -d]
Day 3: LUDERITZ
Today we drive via Aus to Luderitz. With a little luck, some wild horses can be seen in route. Luderitz was the first German Settlement in the previous Deutsch-Sudwest Africa and will fascinate you with its old colonial buildings and beauty. Overnight at Zum Sperrgebiet Hotel [b- - ]
Day 4: LUDERITZ
This morning we tour the town including the famous Diaz Cross. The afternoon is free. Overnight at Zum Sperrgebiet Hotel [b- - ]
Day 5: MALTAHOHE
Namibia's economy is richly endowed with many minerals, including diamonds. This morning we drive along the coast to the ghost town of Kolmanskop where the first diamond was found. Proceed via Aus to Helmeringhausen for dinner and overnight at La Vallee Tranquille Lodge [b- -d]
Day 6: NAMIB DESERT
Morning drive to Duwisib with a guided tour of its peculiar old castle, before continuing to Sesriem in the great Namib-Naukluft National Park Desert. Dinner and overnight at Namib Naukluft Lodge [b- -d]
Day 7: NAMIB DESERT
After an early breakfast, we travel to Sossusvlei, where the highest sand dunes in the world are found (1,000 feet high). Those who feel fit, can try to scale at least part of the dune! From the dunes, we continue into the mystical Sesriem before returning to the lodge around midday. In the late afternoon, a nature drive to the marble mountains will be offered. Dinner and overnight at Namib Naukluft Lodge [b- -d]
Day 8: NAMIB DESERT
We continue through the Namib Desert, after which the country Namibia is named. The scenery is spectacular. We travel today through the Kuiseb Canyon to a lodge in the vicinity of the Gaub River, offering a great panoramic view from the private patio of your chalet. Dinner and overnight at Rostock Ritz Desert Lodge
[b- -d] Day 9: SWAKOPMUND
We head to the coast, this morning, touring Walvis Bay with its beautiful flamingoes before continuing to the main coastal city of Swakopmund. The afternoon is free. Overnight at the Hansa Hotel [b- - ]
Day 10: SWAKOPMUND
This morning we tour the desert area just outside Swakopmund, including the Oasis Goanikontes, the Moon Valley and the famous Welwitschia plants; return to the hotel mid afternoon with the rest of the day at your own leisure. Overnight at Hansa Hotel
[b- - ] Day 11: KARIBIB
After breakfast, depart Swakopmund on the main road towards Karibib, with a detour to Spitzkoppe, the "Namibian Matterhorn" offering fantastic rock formation in a beautiful landscape. After a picnic lunch, continue via Usakos and Karibib to the farm Kaliombo, where the night will be spent in big safari tents at the edge of a dry riverbed. Dinner and overnight at Classic Camp. Day 12: TWYFELFONTEIN
After breakfast depart from Kaliombo via Omaruru to Damaraland; visit the famous prehistoric rock engravings at Twyfelfontein. Dinner and overnight at Twyfelfontein Lodge [b- -d]
Day 12: ETOSHA
After breakfast proceed via Outjo into the Etosha National Park. Etosha vies with a handful of other giant national parks to be the largest on the continent. The first game drive will be on our way to the rest camp, where the night will be spent in bungalows. Dinner and overnight at a Adventure Camp. [b- -d]
Day 13: ETOHSA
After breakfast enjoy all day game drives in the Etosha National Park, with stops at various water holes. Just before sunset, we leave the park and continue to a lodge situated on the outskirts of the eastern border. Dinner and overnight at Mokuti Lodge. [b- -d]
Day 14: ETOSHA
Morning game drive in the park. Our route will focus on the tracks around the Namutoni water hole. We return to the lodge around midday and the afternoon is free to relax at the lodge. Dinner and overnight at Mokuti Lodge. [b- -d]
Day 15: WINDHOEK
After breakfast the route leads to the Otjikoto Lake and after a short visit proceeds via Otjiwarongo and Okahandja back to Windhoek. We arrive in the late afternoon. Overnight at the Windhoek Country Club Lodge. [b- - ]
Day 16: DEPART
You'll be privately transferred to the airprt for your departure. [b- - ]
