This 18 Day Trip is perfect for those seeking adventure and who are in good health and up to the challenge of some physical exercise. On this trip you will get to help your Guide set up camp, walk the giant dunes of Sossusvlei, enjoy nature walks along the banks of the Okavango River, or if you feel up to it (and at your own expense) you can even go white water rafting or bungi jumping at Victoria Falls.

The prices include:
** A Safari Guide who stays with you throughout and manages the entire program;
** All transportation via comfortable, specially-equipped safari vehicles;
** Adventure camp accommodations with some modest lodges;
** Meals as detailed in brackets following each day's description below;
** All park entrance fees, VAT and other government taxes;
** Comprehensive pre-trip material with discount coupons for travel gear and equipment.

Additional expenses not included:
- Sleeping bag and small pillow (rental can be arranged);
- Meals not included;
- All beverages;
- Necessary flight to return to Cape Town at the end of the Trip

Day 1: CAPE TOWN
Set against majestic Table Mountain, Cape Town offers scenic, historic and cultural attractions. Depart from Breakwater Lodge at 8 in the morning for a full day peninsula tour. Drive along the Atlantic seaboard via Hout Bay and Chapmans Peak, and visit the Cape Point, returning along the Indian Ocean coastline back to our well situated Waterfront hotel. A morning or afternoon cable car ascent up Table Mountain is included (weather dependent). Dinner can be enjoyed at the bustling Waterfront at your own expense. Day 2: NAMAQUALAND
Depart after breakfast for the West Coast. Travel north to our first campsite in Namaqualand, a vast and varied region famous for its spring wildflowers. Dinner and overnight at Adventure Camp.  [b-l-d]
Day 3: FISH RIVER CANYON
Cross the border into Namibia this morning. After lunch, it is a short drive to the Fish River Canyon, the second largest canyon in the world after the Grand Canyon. After setting up camp enjoy a walk along the rim of the canyon and watch the changing colors of sunset over the canyon. Dinner and overnight at Adventure Camp..  [b-l-d]
Day 4: SOSSUSVLEI
Journey north through ever changing scenery to your next camp located on the edge of the Namib Desert. Enjoy a sunset walk in the dunes surrounding the camp. Dinner and overnight at Adventure Camp.  [b-l-d]
Day 5: SOSSUSVLEI
An early departure for Sossusvlei, stopping in the dune belt to witness the changing colors of the world's highest sand dunes. Take a 5km walk to Sossusvlei and Deadvlei whose eerie dead trees serve as reminder of a changing habitat. In the afternoon, enjoy a short hike through the Sesriem where centuries of erosion have incised a narrow gorge about 1 km in length. At the foot of the gorge, which plunges down 30 to 40m, are pools that become replenished after good rains. Dinner and overnight at Adventure Camp.  [b-l-d]
Day 6: SWAKOPMUND
Head north to the coast at Walvis Bay and enjoy lunch while viewing the many flamingos feeding. Later, arrive in Swakopmund and spend the afternoon exploring this German colonial town or booking one of the numerous optional excursions (at your own expense). Activities available include sandboarding, quad biking, skydiving, kayaking, hot air ballooning or scenic flights over the vast Namib Desert. Overnight in bungalows or a guesthouse.   [b-l- ]
Day 7: SWAKOPMUND
Today you have another chance to explore Swakopmund or to book one of the numerous optional excursions (at your own expense). All meals are at your own expense here so you can sample the local restaurants. Overnight in bungalows or a guesthouse.   [no meals]
Day 8: SPITZKOPPE
The morning is spent viewing the lunar landscapes of Moon Valley and the amazing Welwitschia plant, considered to be a "living fossil" and uniquely adapted to its hot, dry environment. Head north and set up camp among the boulders of the Spitzkoppe Mountains. An afternoon walk is conducted in the surrounding area. The spectacular setting of your remote bushcamp is sure to leave a lasting impression. Dinner and overnight at Adventure Camp.  [b-l-d]
Day 9: TWYFELFONTEIN
Drive inland through the Damaraland region with its vast and rugged terrain. Its mountain ranges are intercepted by wide gravel plains, which run into sandy, vegetated riverbeds and hot, dry valleys. Visit the Twyfelfontein area for walks to the bushmen paintings/ rock engravings as well as the Organ Pipes. Dinner and overnight at Adventure Camp.   [b-l-d]
Day 10: ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK
In the morning, visit the Himba tribe, a semi-nomadic tribe, living in scattered settlements throughout the region. They are characterized by their proud yet friendly nature and the women are noted for their unusual beauty, enhanced by intricate hairstyles and traditional dress. A few hours are spent learning about these fascinating people. After this visit, proceed to Etosha National Park to enjoy your first game drive. Dinner and overnight at Adventure Camp .   [b-l-d]
Day 11: ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK
Etosha is one of the most important reserves and game sanctuaries in Africa, home to thousands of wild animals such as blue wildebeest, springbok, zebra, kudu, giraffe, cheetah, leopard, lion and elephant. Floodlit waterholes at Okaukuejo and Namutoni campsites attract an abundance of animals throughout the evening, providing you with many amazing wildlife sightings. Enjoy early morning and late afternoon game drives. Dinner and overnight at either Adventure Camp .   [b-l-d]
Day 12: ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK
Enjoy another full day in Etosha National Park with stops at various water holes to view game. Meals and overnight at either Adventure Camp .   [b-l-d]
Day 12: OKAVANGO DELTA
Enter the Caprivi Strip, Namibia's "panhandle", where camp is set amongst the lush vegetation overlooking the Okavango Delta. Enjoy sunset on the deck or a swim in the famous "river pool". Dinner and overnight at Adventure Camp .   [b-l-d]
Day 13: OKAVANGO DELTA
Take a guided bird and nature walk on the banks of the Okavango River this morning. The Okavango, which rises in the highlands of Angola, never reaches the sea, but rather spreads out into the Kalahari Desert, seasonally forming a giant wetland that attracts abundant wildlife. This section of the river is known for its prolific birdlife. Meals and overnight at Adventure Camp .   [b-l-d]
Day 14: KWANDO
Driving through the BwaBwata National Park (formerly Caprivi Game Reserve) there is a chance to buy local weavings before setting up camp on the banks of the Kwando River. Elephant and Hippo can be viewed from the deck overlooking the river. An afternoon boat excursion and game drive are undertaken in search of the many wild animals that inhabit the BwaBwata National Park. Dinner and overnight at Adventure Camp .   [b-l-d]
Day 15: VICTORIA FALLS
Travel across the Zambian border to Livingstone for an unforgettable view of Victoria Falls, without doubt one of the greatest and most spectacular sights in Africa. Your time is at leisure here to browse the local markets or to experience the many optional activities on offer in the adrenalin capital of Africa. You can choose from visiting the falls, white water rafting, bungi jumping, microlighting, airplane or helicopter flights over the falls, and rhino walks or elephant back safaris (all at your own expense). Dinner and overnight at a Livingstone hotel .   [b-l-d]
Day 16: VICTORIA FALLS
Spend the last day of your great adventure doing those things you were unable to do yesterday. Dinner and overnight at a Livingstone hotel .   [b- - ]
Day 17: DEPART
After breakfast your adventure comes to an end in Livingstone or you can opt to fly back to Cape Town at your own expense.   [b- - ]
