Time permitting, two options are available at your own expense: a short boat ride to see the seals on Duiker Island and viewing the penguins on Boulders Beach.

Experience some of the most spectacular views in the world! Depart Cape Town and enjoy a scenic drive along the Atlantic coast passing through the fishing village of Hout Bay. Here you have the option of taking a short boat trip to Duiker Island to view the Cape fur seals (on your own account). The tour then heads along Chapman's Peak Drive on to Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve. Continue along False Bay to Simon's Town naval base for an optional visit to the penguin colony at Boulders Beach (on your own account). Then travel via Fish Hoek fishing village and Muizenberg to Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens for a short walking tour of these beautiful gardens. Return to Cape Town in the late afternoon.
