The gently rolling grassland plains satisfy the most demanding imaginations of what an African big game park should be and the density of predators in the Mara is the greatest of any East African park. Almost all safaris see both lion and cheetah, and there is a good chance of finding leopard as well.

Return after exciting game viewing afternoons, game walks, or visits to a Maasai village for sundowners in the bar before a gourmet dinner and two overnights in your luxury Mara camp. There is also the opportunity to book a memorable hot air balloon ride over this magnificent area.

** Two local flights: Nairobi to the Mara, and the Mara back to Nairobi;

Day 1: MAASAI MARA
This program begins with a local flight from Nairobi's Wilson airport around noon to the Maasai Mara. The program does not include transfers to Wilson airport, which can be added optionally. The flight is scheduled to arrive the Mara around noon. On arrival you'll be privately met and taken on a short game drive into Governor's Camp inside the Maasai Mara National Reserve. After lunch begin game viewing for the abundant plains game and many predators that are found in this great wilderness.

Day 2: MAASAI MARA
Three game drives are included daily from Governor's Camp beginning at dawn returning for a full breakfast, then a mid-day drive which returns for lunch, and finally the afternoon game drive. Options are available for hot air ballooning, visiting a Maasai village and taking a safari walk. Expect to see practically all the big game found in East Africa, and note that the density of predators in the Mara is the greatest of any East African park. Almost all safaris see both lion and cheetah, and there is a good chance of finding leopard as well. Meals and overnight in camp.  [b-l-d]
Day 3: NAIROBI
After your last morning of game viewing, you fly back to Nairobi's Wilson airport arriving around noon. Transfers are not included from the airport but can be added.  [b- - ]
